Our league has a $2,000,000 third party liability insurance policy.  This insurance is required by the school board and municipalities from whom we rent our fields.

In plain English, it covers the following:

"damage to the rented properties; damage to the neighboring properties; or injury to persons or damage to property of individuals not connected to the activity"

Our insurance policy does not cover:

"any personal injury to or property damage of participants.  Participants include spectators as well as players, or any other persons who have 'engaged' in the activity"
